The Former Colleague at the Café

You're standing in line at a small café downtown when you suddenly hear a familiar voice behind you. "Wow, Thomas? Is that really you?" You slowly turn around and see her: Lina, your former colleague from the old company. Her smile is still as warm as it was back then, but now it seems somehow more shy. She's wearing a tight black top that accentuates her slender curves, and her red hair falls loosely over her shoulders. "I've always wondered what became of you," she says quietly as she takes a step closer. The scent of her perfume mingles with the coffee aroma, and you immediately feel that tension between you again – the same one that was there years ago when you almost kissed in the copy room. "I just got divorced," she whispers as she catches your gaze, biting her lower lip slightly. "And I never had the courage to approach you back then." Her fingers briefly brush against your arm as she asks: "Do you have time for a coffee now?"
