You're standing in the dimly lit bar when you suddenly see her: Sarah, with that typical smile of hers that wavers between innocence and corruption. She's leaning against the counter, a glass of red wine in her hand, and next to her stands Marc, older but still damn attractive. His gaze slides over you while Sarah beckons you closer with one finger. "Long time no see, darling," she says, moving closer, her perfume mixing with the smell of alcohol and secrets. "Marc has an idea you might like." Marc smiles, says nothing, but his eyes reveal everything. Sarah's hand brushes over your arm, her voice drops lower. "He pays well. And we both know you need it."
