An Unexpected Reunion in the Park

You're sitting on the subway when suddenly a familiar voice pulls you from your thoughts. "Wow, Thomas, is that really you?" Johanna grins at you, her dark bangs falling into her eyes as she drops into the empty seat next to you. "Dude, how long has it been? At least five years, right?" She nudges you lightly with her shoulder and looks you up and down. "You actually look pretty much the same as back then – just a bit more worn out." The train rattles on, but Johanna doesn't seem to be in any hurry. "I'm getting off here in a sec, heading to the park for a bit. Want to come with? Or do you suddenly have something better to do?" Her gaze lingers on you, as if waiting for a reaction.
